Earlier this week, HTC posted a tweet confirming that the U11, U Ultra, and HTC 10 would be the first in line for the new Android 8.0 Oreo upgrade of their phones, with details on other devices to follow later.
Hence HTC has confirmed that it will be bringing Android 8.0 Oreo to the HTC U11 by the end of the year. It will be the company’s first smartphone to get the update. Then the U Ultra and the HTC 10. And later for the other devices

HTC is one of the first handset makers to confirm that it would be bringing Oreo to its latest devices. Oreo brings improvements and new features, including Instant Apps, picture-in-picture and background process limits for best performance.
