Social media breeds some sort of love/hate relationship. According to studies, Facebook and Twitter may be destructive to our well-being yet we still find ourselves on them, engaging more than ever with random extreme cases of media addiction.

A recent poll by a visual content solution company released findings aiming to answer the above question.
50% of respondents use social media to communicate emotions, thoughts, feelings and activities they are undertaking. It was interesting to note that most were really awful at managing their profiles on social media as they often posted things they perceived others might find interesting. Others use social media to keep a digital trail online.
According to the findings, women post on social media to feel more connected. Men on the other hand, are more likely to post in an attempt to make someone jealous. This made up 8% of the respondents, the polls revealed.
