Samsung continued its history of making fantastic phone display and its mobile displays have long been regarded as the best on the market.
DisplayMate, the site that tests every smartphone display, tested out the Note 8’s and concluded that it is the best display around.
DisplayMate tested out the Galaxy S8 earlier this year and gave it an A+. It’s hard to imagine the Note 8 topping that, but its 6.3-inch QHD+ AMOLED display did. The Galaxy Note 8 has a display that’s 22 percent bright than what you’ll find in the S8,due to new 1,200 nits of peak brightness packed in the screen, nits are used to describe the brightness of computer displays, such as LCD and CRT monitors. The S8 stands at 1,000 nits, while the iPhone 7 Plus only reaches 705 nits.
DisplayMate went on to call the Note 8 display the “most innovative and high performance smartphone display that we have ever lab tested,” earning the highest A+ rating DisplayMate has ever awarded.
If you were looking for another reason to upgrade to the Note 8, now you have it. You’ll get the best display found in a smartphone.
